Good morning, BBN!

The Kentucky Wildcats return to Rupp Arena tonight as they welcome the Georgia Bulldogs to town, in what has shifted into a must-win game if the Cats hope to stay alive for a top-four seed in the conference tournament. That might be easier said than done.

Sitting at 17-8 (5-7), Mike White’s squad comes into Lexington on a two-game losing streak after getting blown out by Florida and Oklahoma this past week. However, the Bulldogs do bring in an offense that can explode if they get hot. Currently averaging 90.3 points per game, the Bulldogs post one of the top scoring offenses in college basketball.

Despite that, they have struggled to get going in their last few contests.

For Kentucky, you can not let this become a trap game. With a big date with Auburn on deck, the Cats need this win to help keep their tournament resume even par and keep one of the top-four seeds in SEC play up for grabs.

How do they do that? Keep the defensive pressure on Georgia and don’t allow this to get into a shootout.

Should be a fun one in Rupp Arena tonight.

Go Cats!
