Luka Doncic on how his injured hamstring felt in NBA All-Star Game

There was some doubt about whether Luka Doncic would play in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game due to a hamstring strain he suffered on Feb. 5. The injury caused him to miss the Los Angeles Lakers' last four games, and it isn't the type of injury to take lightly.

But Doncic did take the court for the "World" team on Sunday, albeit in limited playing time. Most importantly, he did not aggravate his ailment, nor did he suffer a new one.

The Slovenian native said that his hurt hamstring "felt good" on Sunday.

Via Lakers Nation:

“It was good,” Doncic said. “Obviously, I wanted to go out there. The fans voted me to be in this game so I wanted to be there and be part of it a little bit. But (my hamstring) felt good.”

Now Doncic will have four full days off to heal and get ready for the Lakers' next game on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers, who have been hot over the last several weeks. As teammate LeBron James noted over the weekend, health will be immensely important for the Lakers from here on out as they look to get hot and make a serious run this spring in the NBA playoffs.
